For Future Generations

This year we held our Wildlife event over the weekend of Friday 15th July to Sunday 17th July 2016. The group held a small series of events on and around Bradgers Hill with the aim of engaging the local community with Bradgers Hill and the natural world on their doorstep.

The events saw everything from Pipistrelle bats up close and personal, to the life cycles of moths, with the amazingly beautiful Puss Moth caterpillar and Elephant Hawk Moth making an appearance. We even managed to get a view of the planets Mars, Saturn, Jupiter, Venus and Mercury.

We also had our usual Litter Pick event, which attracted a small group of enthusiastic volunteers.

The events saw new faces and old. We were very pleased to have you along.

You can find out about each of the events below.

Fri 15th to Sun 17th - Photographic Competition

Fri 15th July 2016 - Creatures of the Night Bat & Moth Event

Sat 16th July 2016 - Walk & Talk

Sun 17th July 2016 - Litter Pick (General Info on our “Litter Pick” events)
